School types
From preschool to high school, every school on its own terms.
In Petek you choose the levels your school teaches: preschool, primary school, middle school, high school. Class structure, the wording on screens, admissions and roles adjust to match. Schools that only offer preschool education keep their current setup exactly as it is.
Preschool
Classes are set up by age group. The class screen shows the child-to-staff ratio, check-in and check-out, pickups and the care log.
Primary, middle and high school
Classes are recorded by level, grade and section letter (5-A), and lists are ordered by grade. Screens say student instead of child, and campus instead of branch.
Campuses and levels
You mark which levels each campus teaches. A new class opens with that campus's level, and a level the campus doesn't have can't be selected.
Grade applied for
The grade a prospective parent is applying for sits on the admissions card and is included in the exported list.
Waitlist and capacity forecast
The waitlist is sorted by grade. In next year's forecast, students move up one grade and the campus's top grade leaves the school.
Roles to fit the school
Schools that teach beyond preschool get the Vice principal and Subject teacher roles. Each role's permissions can be changed in settings.
License
The ministry that issues the school's license is chosen in the school type setting: MEB, the Ministry of National Education, or, for schools that teach preschool only, the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Fee settings use the same choice.
Reports
In the student summary, schools beyond preschool see their students by grade. The child-to-staff ratio is tracked only in preschool classes.
What Petek doesn't cover
Grades and report cards are not kept in Petek; these stay in e-Okul.
