Part of Check-in, check-out and attendance
Door tablet
A tablet or a computer browser at the school entrance becomes the door check-in. Search for the child's name, tap it, and the check-in or check-out is recorded; who is inside, not here yet or gone home shows separately. A child whose family said they will not come today is flagged. Leaving the door screen needs the password of the staff member who opened it, and wrong attempts are limited. If the school's handover rule gives handovers to another staff member, the tablet takes check-ins only.
