KVKK privacy notice

This notice explains how your personal data is processed on the Petek website and within the Petek service, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

  1. 1.Data controller and data processor

    For the information you send us through the demo and contact forms on the website, the data controller is Onore, the company that develops Petek. For the student, parent and staff data that schools enter into Petek, the data controller is the school concerned; Petek is the data processor that processes this data on the school's behalf and according to the school's instructions.

  2. 2.Personal data processed

    Through the forms: full name, school name, phone number, email address, number of branches and students, and your message. Through use of the service: account details, session and security logs, and activity logs.

  3. 3.Purposes of processing

    To respond to your demo and quote requests, to contact you, to provide and improve the service, to ensure information security and to meet legal obligations.

  4. 4.Legal grounds

    Processing relies on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the Law: explicit consent, the formation or performance of a contract, the data controller's legal obligation, and the data controller's legitimate interest.

  5. 5.Transfers

    Personal data may be transferred to hosting and email infrastructure providers to the extent needed to provide the service, and to competent authorities where required by law. Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the Law. Schools that want their data to stay in Türkiye can choose hosting in Türkiye.

  6. 6.Retention period

    Personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and as long as the applicable legislation provides. At the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

  7. 7.Your rights

    Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, to object to the processing, and to claim compensation if you suffer damage.

  8. 8.How to apply

    You can send your requests through the form on the Contact page. Your application will be answered within thirty days at the latest. For requests about data that a school has entered into Petek, we recommend that you apply directly to that school.
